No one in management actually has a clue what they are doing.
No one who should be held accountable is ever held accountable. HR dept is absolutely a waste of time , incredibly useless seeing as though they side with management no matter what happens. They do not value you, they use people to get what they need in the moment , they sell people a dream on wage a title and then never follow through with the wage and if they do it takes over 6 months to get it. They treat field and crew members like garbage. The “company values” that they preach on their endless company newsletters is a complete lie, no one in this place has integrity and there is absolutely no family environment, no safety etc.) markets cover uk safety issues so it doesn’t affect their safety ratings. They pile work onto people and expect other employees to clean up after someone who didn’t know what they were doing and is no longer with the company. The management turnover in this place is INSANE , Within one handful of years I have over 4 changes in management. They consistently “restructure” to make it seem as if they’re making all of these great changes when in fact these “changes” make this even more worse off than they already are. If you aren’t Sr.management here , you are nobody. When payroll gets messed up (BECAUSE IT ALWAYS DOES HERE) The employee has to suffer and wait until the following week to get their pay that was missing , so in all reality their employees bills and financial security mean absolutely nothing to them. No job security here, no actual structure , just people in offices and desks with titles winging it every second of the day faking it till they BARELY make it. The sad part is Sr mgmt will know something isn’t working out but they’ll allow it to continue and destroy a whole office before fixing it. None of the crews want to speak to mgmt because they don’t do anything to assist they just make things worse in every situation. They force employees to attend meetings that don’t even relate to them , the AP dept is atrocious , none of them know what is going on in any market or how to process the bills , again another dept winging it every second of the day . Finance department is disrespectful, none one follows process here unless it benefits Sr mgmt at that moment. Crews have to beg for proper branded PPE , crews are using their own climbing gear even though mastec preaches that they provide everything that’s needed. Their benefits in actuality are also terrible . The insurance covers NOTHING.
