Pros
Company van, tools, uniforms, decent benefits. able to work independently
Cons
Work/life balance is horrible. I work 14 to 16 hours a day. on an average day alone I usually get home around midnight. Management could care less about your concerns, I've addressed many concerns, and very few have been resolved, the warehouse is a joke, half the time I cant get enough equipment to do all my work. I'm driving a van with over 200,000 miles on it with expired tags!! I've asked for a new van only to be told that new ones would be arriving soon, I've yet to see them. Chargebacks suck! Every time a customer calls in with a complaint, you get a chargeback. Pay is horrible. they go by a color scale, orange, green and blue. and to move up to the next color rank is almost impossible. Ranking system is horrible: A scorecard system is used, you have to hit so many numbers to be promoted. meaning, you have to work your butt off to get a good paycheck Turnover rate is outrageous. I have seen an office of 45 techs drop to 15 within 6 months. All because you don't get paid well.
