Pros

Company is growing at a steady pace with Advanced Technologies' service of DirecTV and AT&T Digital Life. Financial success is driving the company to improve culture and moral to retain valuable and useful employees. Many opportunities to go "above and beyond" without having to take the burden home with you.

Cons

Large companies such as this can appear to be unresponsive at times, and my experience has been 50/50 with a response rate to grievances. This is much better than other experiences I've had, but the one issue always being discussed behind the scenes but never up front is pay. Some departments can be expected to achieve incredible flexibility with little financial incentive to do so, outside of an internal merit system based on recommendations of different levels of recognition and an approval process. You get "points" that you can redeem for merchandise but that does little to pay bills.

We were sold off to them from Optimum. Quickly trying to become the worst company in America to work for. They took away our vacation. Our sick time. Our personal time. They took away holidays. Now they are saying that working a holiday is mandatory unless you asked it off 2 weeks before it (they gave notice of that less than a week before it). They monitor wherever you are, doing whatever, soon as that truck moves. You aren't allowed to backup. If you call in two times in a 90 day period, you're in trouble. If it gets to 8 times (the last call in continues it on) you're fired. They overwork you because they are "behind" and you're just expected to work later. We're expected to do more and for less. They even denied our merit raises saying they didn't believe in them. They don't care about your family and wanting to see them. To be able to spend time outside of work. DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY IF YOU CAN HELP IT!
