I was working for them when they bought out halsted, i was directv tech for them, halsted i was working 50 to 60 hours a week making 1800 to 2200 a week, it was great entil mastec bought it, same hours and amount of jobs but my pay droped to 200 to 400 a week, couldn't even beleave it wss legal, union came in and we voted for it and they brought there union busters in and found reasons to fire everyone, i quit before they found a reason, after the union came they started telling everyone ut was the unions fault that everyone was making so little and when they get rid of them they will get more, comoany is a bunch of liers, the pay dropoed before the union was there, in new york someone dropped a union card and management found it, next morning they had taxys lined up and laid everyone off, they ended up subbing all installs out, stayvaway from this company, its real bad

We were sold off to them from Optimum. Quickly trying to become the worst company in America to work for. They took away our vacation. Our sick time. Our personal time. They took away holidays. Now they are saying that working a holiday is mandatory unless you asked it off 2 weeks before it (they gave notice of that less than a week before it). They monitor wherever you are, doing whatever, soon as that truck moves. You aren't allowed to backup. If you call in two times in a 90 day period, you're in trouble. If it gets to 8 times (the last call in continues it on) you're fired. They overwork you because they are "behind" and you're just expected to work later. We're expected to do more and for less. They even denied our merit raises saying they didn't believe in them. They don't care about your family and wanting to see them. To be able to spend time outside of work. DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY IF YOU CAN HELP IT!
