Pros

You have a lot of freedom and total autonomy in your job. You are not tied down to an office. You do not work with your boss over your head. You go to a different Lowe's store every day, maintain customer service with Lowe's employees, help customers, train Lowe's employees and maintain sets are displayed properly and reset displays. You get a company car, health insurance, 401K with match. The job is very easy.

Cons

Low pay. Can get monotonous being in a Lowe's store all day when there are not very many projects to accomplish. Not much opportunity to move up. The organization constantly changes from year to year. Just as you get used to doing things one way, they completely change it on you. They have gone through 3 sets of layoffs in the past 2 years so keeping the job may be hard at this point in time. They seem to have the attitude that they know they pay you a low wage but that if you want more out of your position leave, cause we can find more people to fill you place if you leave.

Pros

- Organization cares about people - Great benefits - Solid internal communication across leadership to employee base- knowledge and functional alignment of strategic priorities - Opportunities to work with many talented individuals including at business units - Collaborative & inclusive group, focused on continuous improvement

Cons

Working in a decentralized/center-led environment can sometimes be challenging due to the added complexity. However, there is a well-established approach and culture that allows you to navigate effectively.

Pros

Great teams, coworkers, some flexibility although that seems to be changing.

Cons

Health insurance is fair at best, decent salaries, upper management says the right things, but doesn’t necessarily follow through. Leadership tends to look the same (male, older, old school).
