Pros

As a current employee, I feel my family and I are appreciated at Masimo. Every year there are many family events inside and outside of the workplace. One example is we have the Christmas party where the CEO, Joe, hands out gifts to our children. Masimo provides an on campus gym, badminton court, sand volleyball court, ping pong and basketball court for employees and families. Part of the culture at Masimo is to be competitive, thus we have a yearly Masimo Olympics competition where employees compete at different sports. Families are encouraged to come and cheer on. Masimo has a very generous benefits package which includes 401k matching and a annual bonus program. It is of a great honor to work for a company that cares about patient care and I would definitely recommend friends and family to join Masimo.

Cons

Need a better basketball court

Pros

Danaher came in and this new ceo will be better than the last one. Innovative devices that make a real difference in clinical environments. Talented, dedicated engineers and individual contributors who are passionate about quality and results. Competitive benefits and resources supporting the technical work.

Cons

senior leadership appear disconnected from actual operations. They often seem to know little about the day-to-day realities and contribute minimal practical value, leading to poor decisions, bottlenecks, and wasted effort for the teams doing the real work. Increasing bureaucracy and top-heavy structure that slows down progress despite the strong capabilities of the people on the ground. A noticeable gap between executive influence and actual impact, which is frustrating even as a newcomer observing it. Key talent and legacy know-how are leaving at a concerning rate, which makes newcomers like me nervous about the company’s long-term knowledge retention and stability. Gossip is rampant, further eroding trust and team cohesion.
