Pros

Masimo is dedicated to developing breakthrough technologies that save people's lives. The result is a portfolio of clinically-proven products and services that leads the way in innovation, performance and patient safety. At Masimo I found pioneering and innovative spirit with a wide range of opportunities. Without the exceptional professionals at Masimo, we simply could not fulfill our mission of “Improving Patient Outcomes and reducing Cost of Care”. Team was supportive which made it possible for me to formulate and roll out new service products for 2014. Joe Kiani’s vision and leadership is phenomenal! His unwavering devotion to “patient safety” exemplifies strong moral fiber and character. I am very impressed with Masimo’s HR team led by Tracy Miller in terms of their experience and professional integrity. Masimo is a great place to work at; and its greatness comes from the people within this organization! I wholeheartedly vouch for Masimo. Excellent career advancement opportunities, great work environment and life balance. I'm extremely optimistic about the outlook for Masimo.

Cons

The environment is extremely fast paced better suited for individuals that are driven.

Pros

Danaher came in and this new ceo will be better than the last one. Innovative devices that make a real difference in clinical environments. Talented, dedicated engineers and individual contributors who are passionate about quality and results. Competitive benefits and resources supporting the technical work.

Cons

senior leadership appear disconnected from actual operations. They often seem to know little about the day-to-day realities and contribute minimal practical value, leading to poor decisions, bottlenecks, and wasted effort for the teams doing the real work. Increasing bureaucracy and top-heavy structure that slows down progress despite the strong capabilities of the people on the ground. A noticeable gap between executive influence and actual impact, which is frustrating even as a newcomer observing it. Key talent and legacy know-how are leaving at a concerning rate, which makes newcomers like me nervous about the company’s long-term knowledge retention and stability. Gossip is rampant, further eroding trust and team cohesion.
