Pros

Interesting products with a lot of market value, cool projects with potential to really impact the market in positive ways.

Cons

Lack of focus on core vision, spread the teams WAY too thin. Grossly overestimated how much the market will like a product, fail to bring it to market on time because the timeline was way too optimistic, fail to listen to the experts in consumer goods you bought, then punish the employees by pulling all raises when the forecast was as impossible as we all knew from the start. Then hold a town hall and tell your employees *literally* to "go work for someone else" if you care more about competitive wages and fair treatment than the CEO's "vision" and shareholder value. Very clear messaging from leadership that employees do not matter. My coworkers are run down, depressed, and unhappy. This is a good company with good products and abysmal leadership.

Pros

Danaher came in and this new ceo will be better than the last one. Innovative devices that make a real difference in clinical environments. Talented, dedicated engineers and individual contributors who are passionate about quality and results. Competitive benefits and resources supporting the technical work.

Cons

senior leadership appear disconnected from actual operations. They often seem to know little about the day-to-day realities and contribute minimal practical value, leading to poor decisions, bottlenecks, and wasted effort for the teams doing the real work. Increasing bureaucracy and top-heavy structure that slows down progress despite the strong capabilities of the people on the ground. A noticeable gap between executive influence and actual impact, which is frustrating even as a newcomer observing it. Key talent and legacy know-how are leaving at a concerning rate, which makes newcomers like me nervous about the company’s long-term knowledge retention and stability. Gossip is rampant, further eroding trust and team cohesion.
