Pros
I loved working at Partners, and I learned a lot there. They replaced the electronic health record which was built in-house with Epic. I left because the work I was doing was going away.
Cons
Lots of people who had spent most of their careers at Partners, unusual for software developers. They are very knowledgeable, but not committed to staying current with new technologies. I felt I had zero chance for advancement. The engineer salaries are lower than the Boston market, and the annual raises are low.
