Pros
- Interesting work - Develop the ability to learn to work with "messy" data
Cons
- Very few aspects of the Enterprise Data Warehouse are clearly documented. For example, explanations of tables, column names, values of columns, and important limitations to consider for existing variables do not exist for most of the data in the EDW. The data are inconsistent from RSO to RSO; however, they're all merged into one Enterprise table without consideration as to how the data differ from site to site. These issues, among many more, leave many analysts feeling unconfident about the quality of work. - Partners currently has no streamlined way to manage tasks, and analysts receive requests from any and everyone who has a question - Some bosses are no more intelligent than subordinates, in fact I believe that many of my coworkers were more qualified to manage than my boss - Very cliquey environment - HR provides no resources, if you voice concerns HR reminds you that you're an at-will employee and are "free to leave if you want to"
