Pros
Friendly people, not cut-throat, cash balance plan, 403b match, new building, some jobs allow remote work, casual attire allowed
Cons
No reward for performance - just a 2% raise. This is no longer keeping up with inflation! The salaries are not staying competitive for the market for high-skilled workers, all of our new employees are fresh out of grad school. Total lack of transparency from HR on how to get promoted and what pay ranges are for a job. Managers lack the same information. The worst is the change from BCBS to Allways (formerly and better know as Neighborhood Health Plan) for medical insurance. This was sold to us as having little effect and that "almost all" of providers took it. The reality is that very few mental health providers outside of those in Partners own network will take this product (administered by Optum - another fact that was not communicated to us). This is an awful thing to do to your employee's mental health. Furthermore, you will pay large co-pays if you decide to go outside of the Partners network for medical care. Very disappointed in the organization for making this move to try to salvage the failing insurance product that they hastily purchased (NHP).
