Pros
Good opportunity to learn tech transfer. High deal flow. Great exposure to interesting technology. Working with VC team was cool for technology that had great potential to help patients. Most of the team were really nice people and very helpful and supportive. Management not so much.
Cons
Where do we start Pay is horrendous Turnover was very high Case loads were unbearable Ungrateful and condescending PIs with little support from management to deal with them. I was told once there will always be difficult people to deal with. Pretty much get over it and do No transparency in promotions Management slow to make changes that would improve employees work life balance Too many guardrails that don't make sense
