Pros
MGH is full of really smart, talented people who are driven and dedicated to their professions. Even though there are 4 parts to the mission statement (i.e. research, teaching, patients and community), when it comes down to it, we're here to help others. What makes it different from other hospitals is that one has much more resources to get things done.
Cons
Parking is very difficult. Although, plenty of subway lines have a stop near MGH. Salaries also tend to run middle of the pack as opposed to leading edge. MGH has extremely high retention rates, therefore, even though everyone's very talented, it can be difficult to be promoted.
