Pros

Very rich research environment, lots of access to human clinical trails and human data, great learning environment

Cons

Hospital seems to have plenty of money for fancy new buildings, yet pays its PhD employees a wage well below the 70% AMI and as Boston rent soars, the commute time to affordable housing increases, and this downside cannot be ignored. It is worth knowing MGH pays NIH MINIMUM and uses the scale from the previous FY not the current.
