Pros

Massage envy is a great place to work at. They offer you a very flexible schedule with great hours and decent pay. As a sales associate you are expected (and required) to meet a specific sales quota when selling memberships. It is not hard at all to sell a membership because you memorize a script and are trained to overcome the cliche obstacles that are given by your customers. everyone I worked with were amazing people. When therapists had an hour unscheduled in the day you could go in for a massage with them for FREE!!! (always tip) Not too many places offer massages while you are on the clock!!! - good hourly pay and commision - discounted massages and facials - Friendly employees - EASY JOB - Make your own schedules

Cons

- Management was a bit unprofessional - Occasional confrontation with therapists and front desk girls - Gossiping in the clinic

Pros

good chance to build office skills to enter higher role. work here if you are tired of working in food service and want to build computer skills for office work.

Cons

pay is dirt, VC firm that owns half the company is constantly making things worse, and the membership policy is incredibly expensive predatory, and hard to quit. be ready to spend 8 hours a day telling people that are financially struggling that they cannot cancel their membership. when therapists call out for the day you pretty much have to start your day out calling all of their appointments and telling people first thing in the morning that the appointment they've had to wait weeks for is gone and their chronic pain needs to continue for even longer as you re-schedule them out weeks in advance.
