Pros

- We make software that empowers scientists and engineers to change the world. - Culture of continuous improvement means there are always new challenges. - Very smart and talented people who genuinely enjoy collaborating together. - Processes keep people from making the same mistakes over and over. - The bonus program and benefits are fantastic. The company understands its’ biggest asset is the staff and rewards everyone for contributing to its success. - The company has had the same CEO since it was founded in 1984. Jack is building the company for the future and he is someone you want to work for. - The company is very profitable and it’s great to be part of a winning team.

Cons

- Things can move slower than some would like. You are encouraged to measure twice and cut once. - You need to be someone who enjoys collaboration. - There are a lot meetings (the company if filled with brilliant people so everyone is encouraged to discuss their work with other smart people).

The company places a strong emphasis on continuous learning and professional growth, with clear encouragement for employees to develop their skills over time. There are frequent, fun company events that help build connections across teams and contribute to a genuinely friendly and collaborative culture. Overall, the organization takes a very staff-focused approach, prioritizing employee well-being and fostering an environment where people feel supported and valued.

Cons

With a globally distributed workforce, it can sometimes be challenging to coordinate schedules or connect in person with colleagues.
