      Pros

      There is a reason there are so many tenured employees at Matson. When you join the company, you truly become part of the Matson Ohana. The culture, people, leadership, pay/benefits are all top notch.

      Cons

      Only con is mostly personal to me, but I wish after a certain amount of tenure I could work full-time remote. I would stay with Matson until retirement if that were the case.

      Great benefits if that's all you care about.

      Cons

      Bullying is brushed off as personality differences. Favoritism and butt kissing is the only way to survive or get ahead. They offer lots of leave and cover medical leave 100% of pay so people abuse the time off policies. Leadership will spend up to 50% of their day whispering in dark corners with their favorite employees. Management ignores all the toxicity. No wonder good people leave and they are left with the people who only care about the benefits and how much they can abuse them.
