Working at Matterport for the last 3 and a half years has been an absolute breeze because of the below: Disruptive, innovative technology that is market leading with no real competition. Matterport is seamless to use, seamless to sell and most importantly delivers outstanding results to customers that grow through their usage. Year on year growth at Matterport has been phenomenal. From YoY revenue growth, to headcount to diversifying their product offering and markets sold into. Finally, the cherry on top working at Matterport is the people. Matterport has a work hard & have fun culture which really shows. You are treated as an individual, held accountable to your business unit and rewarded very well for success. Development is key to employees and you are enabled to improve your skills, take risks & drive your own career growth.
Cons
Hard to find cons at Matterport, however a couple constructive improvements are as follows: Improve global communication methods -already being worked on with a new global intranet, improved usage of Slack, a fantastic 2021 kick off that included the whole company to be aligned. As you continue to grow, give more ownership to regional business owners (APAC/EMEA/LATAM/NORAM) to make decisions that deliver results for customers in a shorter time frame. Drive a customer first approach, which I know is already being prioritised increasingly.
