Pros
• Really talented staff in certain departments, such as Product & Engineering. • Impressive core products. • Good benefits. • Frequent town halls with senior leadership. • CEO is a good cheerleader for the company. • If you are working with the right people, you can gain valuable experience.
Cons
• Quality of sales leadership is troubling. Experienced staff will recognise this. • Strategy and targets appear to be informed by optimism rather than critical analysis or thoughtful consideration. • Initially, junior staff will likely find the experience valuable and be impressed by the MBA language used by some senior staff, but will likely begin to realise that this is not a high-performing company. • Programmes are not adequately resourced across the company. The executive team preaches 'focus', but proves unable to put it into practise.
