      Pros

      Great company to work for with a ton of opportunity. Pay and benefits are competitive and the people are great. The new stores are the best and prettiest around and the employees there make the shopping experience even better. The company is building new stores like crazy so its not just a job its a career.

      Cons

      Currently, employees do not receive a discount on gas or in-store purchases. This is a benefit other similar competitors are offering their employees and if Maverik offered them, they would be in a stronger position to attract and retain good people.

      Thank you for sharing your opinion and observations about Maverik. We are currently looking at options for discounts and do offer employees Adventure Perks that include discounts on travel, retail and entertainment purchases. We also revamped our Store Manager Training program to focus more on many of the leadership skills necessary to build strong and lasting teams.

      Pros

      Community and pay and knowing everyone and the feeling of being there for the community.

      Cons

      Constant changing of things that weren't broke, no backup by uppers, the stress of never having the hours needed to run the store so you have to work 16 hour days and get paid for a 40 hour work week and the insubordination
