Pros

I have gotten lucky and got a good manager. But most are horrible and dont care at all about the employees. They have insurance and the opportunity for overtime(most of the time). Ive seen some good people that made mistakes early in life that got another opportunity from mavis and ran with it.

Cons

Mavis cares about one thing and thats profit. You could be doing a million things to help the shop succeed and it will continuously go unrecognized. There is no real growth opportunity unless you butter up the regional manager but that will be decided based on your profit margin. Even when you do well just remember not to have a bad day or week. Theres levels upon levels of micromanagement. The managers are just figureheads for the RTMs. The leadership sound like a crappy self help seminar and really have no grasp on whats going on at the store level.Unless you are desperate don't do it. You will burn out and be stressed and you will never feel appreciated. I warned you.

Being able to help ppl in need

Very low pay for the salary They keep adding more and more thing on us as managers. makes us work more hrs for the same pay. Can barly afford to live off of you have a family Can have 2 days off in a row make it so you have no work life balance
