Pros
Met some amazing people who I am still close to. Learned a lot about Medicaid and Medicare for application into my own family life.
Cons
It is the typical call center. High turnover, volatile environment where management sees you as a robot who answers phone and even though you are better than 90 percent of the department you are still “replaceable.” Growth can be very limited. The accrual of PTO is very slow. You have to have PTO hours to cover any day of you want to take (can’t just take a day without pay).
