Pros

There is a whole mix of people from different cultures and backgrounds in this company, co-workers try to help to each other on the daily tasks. There is a lot you will learn by yourself.

Cons

The floor support to agents is absolutely weak , there is no enough training or shadowing, they expect you to learn by yourself by reading em@ils you receive constantly during your whole shift while you are talking to customers on the phone. Your “Team Lead” is the one to provide you support when you have questions however the “Team Lead” in my group yell to people things like “Don’t ask me anything if you haven’t read your thousand email first, use your resources, how can you be so lazy” after exhausted all your resources without finding the answer you need and you ask your “Team Lead” for some guide, you might get and answer like “I’m too busy right now, ask someone else…” The way they manage people is horrible, the environment is very restrictive and stressful besides they provide you with ambiguous information. Payment is too low for the amount of stress

Cons

Not too many - a few misunderstanding s about training classes and roles but overall, not bad.

Pros

Had a few really exceptional coworkers

Cons

One reason I was hired was to bring in new ideas and work approaches; however, when I tried implementing anything new, some of the “old school higher-ups” would balk and were never open to anything new or better. My management just looked the other way and didn’t support me. As for training, I wasn’t offered much in the way of onboarding other than being told to read a lengthy “standard operating procedures” document. No real opportunities were offered to shadow anyone so I could learn in real-time. A typical work week was 60+ hours and often stretched to 70+. It was exhausting and demoralizing. The job was not sustainable and I’ve never been more relieved to be done with a place. I cannot recommend Maximus as a place to grow your skills or to give your time. Turnover seems to be relatively high at Maximus and there are far better places to work.
