Pros
You get what you put in, if you do your best, you get the best experience. Middle management is great and has the best view of what is happening on all levels of the organization, but are woefully unable to do anything about it. Advancement is very possible as long as you're meeting your metrics, Albany is a ramp site and always hiring in all departments.
Cons
The attendance policy strangles any work-life balance. An unscheduled day off nets you -4 attendance points, -8 on a critical day. The only way to earn points back is to get perfect attendance for a month (meaning you can't be late even once), you then earn +4 points back. You begin with 40 which is also the maximum amount you can have, no banking for a rainy day. If you dip below 32 points you can kiss farewell any advancement opportunities. Compensation is great for entry level positions, but increases in salary as you advance are marginal at best. I've never seen a salaried position below $40k before working for this company.
