Pros

There were some very talented people to work with. They were trying to gain more staffing when I left. Cleveland is not as bad as it's reputation. You were given a lot of responsibilty.

Cons

Senior management was an approval funnel. Everything had to be approved through a dept. V.P., which ground progress to a halt at times. There was animosity between sales, engineering and fabrication. Avoiding blame was taken to a new art form. The company picnic was a shame. It was supposed to make the employees feel like the company cared about families. One day didn't make up for the other 364 days of long hours away from the family.

Fortunately Mayfran has been under new ownership since August of 2012, and we have been able to resolve many of those bottle-neck issues. It is a very exciting place to be right now as we improve our technology and our work environment through excellent leadership. Sorry to hear that your experience with our annual picnic was not a positive one. Most of our employees really look forward to this event and we typically get a lot of great feedback.

Remote only have to be at the office two times a year with management

Manager would run around saying I'm a VP I know it all
