Pros

Higher paying facility compared to others in the Phoenix Valley. Challenging work, many opportunities to expand personal knowledge. Patient-centered care with many providers who are abundant in their knowledge, thorough in their assessments, and detailed in explanations of care plans, both to the nurses and patients.

Cons

Elitist, highly political leadership atmosphere. Since it "pays well," you are expected to eat, sleep, and breathe work 24/7; this creates a lack of work/life balance. All RN work is highly micro-managed, you are expected to be a nurse the "Mayo way" or no way, even if this does not work in application to direct patient care.

Pros

Good hospital environment very people friendly

Cons

The pay is very low for the amount of work. The work is very overwhelming please believe me. I usually don’t write reviews but I wanted to help someone out. They started my entire class off with 21 dollars no matter your work experience or education. Which is very unusual. The pay range on the application is very misleading. You get 5 points in your out of there. I saw my coworkers in the bathroom crying because of the work load. The benefits are high not very affordable. You must be in the position a year an order to leave the department which isn’t disappointing
