Pros
Housing is provided The job itself is easy to learn if you are new to the industry
Cons
Your job is made very difficult because of poor management, micromanagement is the only type of management there BEWARE OF THE "OTHER TASKS, AND SOME YARD WORK REQUIRED" CLAUSE!!! This company will purposely leave your contract very vague and leave it up to management to interpret these vague responsibilities as they see fit. In my case, working for May tagging Guantanamo Bay, I was expected to cut numerous endless fields of grass and weeds with only a weed wacker. And when I would complain on this subject, they would point out that my contract did state some yard work required. This company would rather make its workers do the job themselves and get as much slave labor out of them, rather than pay professionals who do this with the proper equipment and the proper amount of people. Management will put the job in front of your well-being. Bringing up issues to human resources leads you nowhere since this company's human resources focuses on backing up management no matter what the complaint is Management is not open to suggestions to make the job more efficient. They have a very set our way or the highway mentality Since nobody is jumping to take up a management position over there, the current management there feels very entitled and does not fear of being fired because there is nobody in the company that is willing to replace them. So management is left free to treat their employees at that location however they want without fear of repercussions. The company looks after management, and management alone. If they don't like the way you work, they will literally make you pack up and leave the island of Guantanamo Bay in less than 24 hours. Believe me, they do not care about you if you are not management And lastly, after efficiently using the chain of command to send your complaints up, even writing the CEO directly gets you no results. Writing the CEO literally does nothing, because maybe he really doesn't care
