McCord Engineering is a wonderful medium sized engineering firm with headquarters in a thriving and growing area. The entire team at McCord is full of experts in their fields with so much experience. The entire company feels more like a family that cares about its employees and takes care of one another. You feel secure as an employee while managing an amazing work-life balance. The 401k match is unreal. Depending on profit for the year it is between 8-12% match!
Cons
Not a true "con" per say, the company believe is slow, stable growth. This provides job security and expertise for employees but makes the company very top heavy with not much room for upward growth without spending a large amount of time at the firm. That said everyone stays with the company because they are so great and take care of their people.
