Pros
In medical technology, your average developer is going to have a lot of very crunchy and interesting problems to solve that are way outside of the eyeball metrics of many consumer fields. It's also a great place to get away from the rockstars, ninjas, and cowboys that densely populate the startup world. McKesson is also constantly evolving, so the cons listed below are more of a snapshot of today's issues. They're not as much of an issue as they were even a few years ago.
Cons
They're still evolving their policy on open source software. If FOSS is a big deal for you, that can be a con. There are also minor predictable issues working at an extremely large company in a field that is highly sensitive to privacy and security issues: many forms to fill out, and many regulations to familiarize yourself with.
