Pros
This can be a very stable place to work, as long as you keep your head down and don't want to move up in the company. The social committee works hard to throw fun events.
Cons
The company has a race problem. If you're not white, and preferably French-speaking, it's nearly impossible to get promoted. That was the case when I worked there, and continues to be the case among my friends who are still with the company. Talented, hardworking people are looked over for promotions again and again. In most cases, positions opened up and were filled without anyone else knowing that they were open. Some departments are worse than others, and you can see it in the demographics. Despite creating career plans with every employee, senior management promotes only those that look like them and don't offer dissenting opinions. Altogether, a very demoralizing place to work.
