      Large facility= lots of areas to choose from to work for professional growth Pcu/icu areas are not bad to work in

      Cons

      Med surg floors are way too big. Pay is mediocre. Cafeteria food is awful.

      Pros

      Encouraging learning environment for new APP's. Administration is always available when needed. Great starting pay and benefits. The culture is patient-centered while showing respect and encouraging growth and development of APP's. I love my career with McLeod Health.

      Cons

      It can take time to develop a full patient load, but that was just my experience as a new APP. I appreciate the time I have been allowed to grow in my new role.
