      Pros

      The insurance is in house and fantastic. The people are fantastic. You get vacation time insurance and a 401k match on your first check.

      Cons

      If you want to get promoted, you need to learn a lot. It is a large organization, and healthcare is very complex.

      Pros

      Encouraging learning environment for new APP's. Administration is always available when needed. Great starting pay and benefits. The culture is patient-centered while showing respect and encouraging growth and development of APP's. I love my career with McLeod Health.

      Cons

      It can take time to develop a full patient load, but that was just my experience as a new APP. I appreciate the time I have been allowed to grow in my new role.
