      Pros

      McLeod is a large employer who pays decent for the area.

      Cons

      McLeod only cares about employees who are in director or higher roles. If you do not hold one of these titles, there are few benefits for you beside the standard PTO time. You also do not receive paid holidays, you can either use your PTO time for holidays or choose to be off with no pay. Be sure to read the policies as well, if you don't you will run into a lot of surprises regarding your departure from McLeod.

      Pros

      Encouraging learning environment for new APP's. Administration is always available when needed. Great starting pay and benefits. The culture is patient-centered while showing respect and encouraging growth and development of APP's. I love my career with McLeod Health.

      Cons

      It can take time to develop a full patient load, but that was just my experience as a new APP. I appreciate the time I have been allowed to grow in my new role.
