      Pros

      I feel fairly treated and like my role makes a difference. I love my work family.

      Cons

      "Good ol boy" network is alive, well, and ongoing. Very, very slow to adjust to modern working norms. For example, men that aren't in the C suite were able to ditch ties only a few years ago. Flexibility varies per work area (department). IT has such a tight grip on "security" that it is sometimes impossible to complete work tasks.

      Pros

      Encouraging learning environment for new APP's. Administration is always available when needed. Great starting pay and benefits. The culture is patient-centered while showing respect and encouraging growth and development of APP's. I love my career with McLeod Health.

      Cons

      It can take time to develop a full patient load, but that was just my experience as a new APP. I appreciate the time I have been allowed to grow in my new role.
