Pros

Good people for the most part, flexibility for some employees, nice building, team building opportunities if your team is large. Many groups have goodly sized teams with support from multiple employees.

Cons

Managers overworked and no time to train entry level employees, no learning opportunities from other employees, negative attitudes, just overall the worst entry level experience. Didn’t get any in depth training on topics I inquired about like proposals, and I don’t know why they even hired me. Seems like the engineers like it and the corporate marketing team seems to have fun though.

Pros

They really do value their company culture and continue to work towards creating a good work like balance. The benefits are great, and being employee owned is huge.

Cons

They are just large enough that some of the "corporate" issues exist. Lack of relationships with the CEO's, red tape to get certain things done, and how well the work life balance is definietly does depend on your boss and your location.
