Pros

I like how the bank is not too big and procedures and customer care are more focused. Traffic is not too heavy like big banks. We can really help clients quickly and effectively without having to worry about shooting yourself in the foot. Other banks require so much from an interaction that it makes bankers not want to help clients. I like how local branches work together to assist clients. Everyone in the team arrives ready to work and stays focused getting things done.

Cons

Old banking systems and technology that requires a lot manual processes and can be easily resolved to work in conjunction with all bank systems. Tellers need more physical and customer security like bandit barriers and more client verification tokens for teller transactions such as (QST) and one-time codes. Branches are really tightly staffed as to where if someone gets sick, etc, it creates a lot of pressure on the team and management needs to lend employees to other branches.

Pros

It is a new position for me. The training I have received has been exceptional. The vibe in the office so far is really good. I see room for growth and I now have a work life balance.

Cons

I'd like more pay but who doesn't. I believe I am paid correctly for my experience.

Pros

Decent pay, no work weekends

Cons

Back office operations is extremely unorganized during mergers, there is little to no communication with employees from upper management about plans, changes, etc. The company makes it clear they value profits over people.
