Pros

Friendly people. Welcoming to those without technical backgrounds.

Cons

They say they put people first but this doesn't seem to be the case as the turnover rate is very high. Retention doesn't seem to be a priority. This causes a constant inflow of new and often inexperienced workers and a lack of seasoned workers to train them. Pay is mediocre, 16-18 but everyone, including those in leadership roles complain of being overworked. It is common to see people leave after 3-12 months for better opportunities. Company does not have overflow protection for it's support desk. First 3 months of 2021 were straight back to back and overtime was constantly being asked of employees. Typical call volume is 70-90 calls per day. Expected Average Handle Time is 7 minutes which garners the feeling of quick resolutions vs quality calls. This is especially true when it can take 2 minutes just to have the user try to explain the issue and another 2-4 minutes to remote in and that's before you even get to start working on the problem. Taking breaks feels like being in kindergarten. You can't go on break if any of the 20-30 others are on break. This can be very difficult when people are gone for 10 minutes and when they come back you will most likely be in the middle of a call. When your call finishes there is high probability someone will be on a break at that time.

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad to hear that friendly staff was a pro for you as we continue to recognize and implement our core value of “Our People are #1.” Across the industry, our turnover rate is actually on the low end. In regards to compensation, remember to take profit sharing into account. Compensation must be viewed in total across a 12-month timeframe. We recently created a position that will focus on improving onboarding and training for our teammates. Ultimately, this position will curate advanced plans for team retention as well. Providing 24/7 IT support to our clients can be a task that requires a lot of work. We believe that our teammates are up for the challenge as we strive to provide great customer service to our clients. Mechdyne's service desk model, similar to many companies in our industry, heavily relies on our team being ready for all incoming end user requests. While some days are busier than others, an average agent utilization of 60% - 75% leaves our teammates downtime during each shift to recharge between contacts. If you would like to talk more about any issues related to your personal situation, please feel free to reach out to us at feedback@mechdyne.com

Pros

What I value most about working at Mechdyne: A culture grounded in honesty and integrity, where trust and accountability matter. Commitment to excellence and continuous improvement, with high expectations and meaningful ownership. The opportunity to work with cutting‑edge technology to solve complex, real‑world problems. A company that values contribution and responsibility, both to customers and the community.

Cons

As Mechdyne continues to grow, there’s a great opportunity to keep refining processes and communication in ways that support scale while still preserving the flexibility and innovation people value.

Pros

I value the culture and people who work for Mechdyne. I value my future with Mechdyne as well - I see a lot of room for personal growth and new experience and I feel like I have a lot of control over my future here. It seems a lot better here than the companies and positions of my peers.

Cons

There aren't many aspects that Mechdyne could improve - the most improvement could be seen with flexibility with in where the employees can live and the ability to work from home.
