Pros

I worked here for 4 years while going to school to become a RN. Because they are 24 hours a day I was able to be scheduled on several shifts to help with my school. Management gave good feedback to allow me to do my job. They are very picky about how things are worded but it is all covered in training. Although picky I understand the need for it because of the accuracy and types of calls we work with. I have worked in a few different answering services and call centers since high school and most of them are dirty and cramped. The work environment her is clean and comfortable, and always professional.. The pay for the type of job is reasonable and raises are given on merit and not time worked. I started off as an operator and after the first year I was promoted to Shift Supervisor based on my hard work and ability to follow the rules and my training. I had the ability to advance but due to wanting to pursue being a RN I decided it wouldn't be fair to take another promotion. Full time to this company means 40 hours and I got 40 hours each and every week with overtime available.

Cons

The work schedules from week to week vary due to the nature of what they do but overall I am happy to have a full time 40 hour/week job. They made it clear that I would/could be scheduled for any shift but overall my schedule didn't move more than a few hours. While I understand they schedule based on client needs it would be nice to have a set schedule.

Pros

Diversity of calls. Ability to take diverse calls and learn proper handling skills.

Cons

Scheduling, biased treatment of specific employees, unapproachable management. Micro management. Even after training calls are screened and management will literally take over all if its not being worded how she wants it to be.
