Very poor management - Veterinary Technician MedVet Employee Review

Pros

Most of the doctors are great, promote work/life balance, but often to the extent that it affects patient care

Cons

Very poor management, VERY little focus on overall patient care and zero care or focus on hospital cleanliness. Teamwork and asking for help is a punishable offense, sitting down and playing on your phone is not only acceptable but encouraged over cleaning and patient care. They are very big on performance punishment, so the hardest working people get the least respect and recognition, and the ones that do as little as possible get credit and patted on the back regularly.

Pros

The staff at the Commerce MedVet have been very supportive and helpful with teaching me the skills I was previously lacking. I got my first feline jugular blood draw and I was also given great tips about IV catheter placement.

Cons

I have no cons, the staff are very welcoming and if you want to learn they want to teach.
