Pros

They have a strong passion to promote a positive work place. They try their best in the surgery department to get employee's out on time. But, they also don't argue with you about getting overtime. It is refreshing to join a company that has this mind set. They are working on developing a thorough on boarding experience. Everyone (at least in surgery) is very welcoming.

Cons

There are some pessimistic attitudes and it is sad that management feels the need to "prepair me for it" prior to my first day. I would not place any blame on the company or management for this down fall. A company cannot completely control their employees mind sets. They have made and continue to make the appropriate attempts at mending these cracks.

Pros

Very generous employee discount for employee pets Ability to bring my pet to work with me, extra helpful on days when my dog has physical therapy appointments scheduled Good team work, everyone seems to answer questions or is willing to explain things Management checks in to see if I feel supportive or if there's anything I need

Cons

I've been at my position for a month now and really don't have any negatives at the moment.

Pros

The staff at the Commerce MedVet have been very supportive and helpful with teaching me the skills I was previously lacking. I got my first feline jugular blood draw and I was also given great tips about IV catheter placement.

Cons

I have no cons, the staff are very welcoming and if you want to learn they want to teach.
