Pros

- Supportive team members, doctors always helpful and friendly and want you to succeed - Lots of opportunity for overtime pay

Cons

- Usually too busy to take bathroom or lunch breaks - Long overnight hours - Typical busy ER, so usually not able to accompany all sick/injured pets at once, meaning more frustrated pet owners and phone lines ringing off the charts (due to COVID... all info exchanged over phone)

Thank you for your review, we are glad that you had a supportive, team environment. The ER tends to be busy and we understand that can be challenging even in the best of times. The pandemic has changed the way we work with clients and we hope to be able to welcome them back into our lobbies soon.

Pros

Everyone is super friendly. After a long work shift, I feel appreciated and that I have helped out in a way that makes everything smoother for the next shift.

Cons

After many days working at MedVet, I can't find any cons in the work environment or in my interactions with my coworkers.

Pros

Very generous employee discount for employee pets Ability to bring my pet to work with me, extra helpful on days when my dog has physical therapy appointments scheduled Good team work, everyone seems to answer questions or is willing to explain things Management checks in to see if I feel supportive or if there's anything I need

Cons

I've been at my position for a month now and really don't have any negatives at the moment.
