      Pros

      There is very good work life balance, you learn a lot here, MedVet cares about the employees, there is opportunity to move up into tech positions, yearly raises, and of course the animals.

      Cons

      Working holidays, which is just something that happens in the vet field

Establishing a work-life balance for all of our employees is a priority and we are happy to hear that you have created that balance for yourself. Make sure to discuss PTO around holidays with your Clinical Manager, as you may be able to use your PTO on holidays when it is planned ahead of time and coverage is established. We are always encouraging our employees to advance within the company and it's great that you recognize that and have a plan in place for yourself to grow into new positions with us as well.       Pros

      The staff at the Commerce MedVet have been very supportive and helpful with teaching me the skills I was previously lacking. I got my first feline jugular blood draw and I was also given great tips about IV catheter placement.

      Cons

      I have no cons, the staff are very welcoming and if you want to learn they want to teach.

      Pros

      Everyone is super friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Ability to give the best care to all animals walking through the doors. Feeling like I am making a difference in Veterinary Medicine. Never a dull moment.

      Cons

      Can be overwhelming If you do not like fast paced environments, it may not be the best job for you.
