MedVet prioritizes transparency and communication among all caregivers, and we see these qualities as key elements for a healthy work environment. Additionally, the last few years a lot of work and effort has been put into analyzing job descriptions, role assignment, and fair pay within each geographic area. This analysis also includes ensuring we provide competitive, market appropriate merit increases. Last year our merit allowance was increased to 4% in alignment with market trends. The actual merit increase a caregiver receives is based on their individual performance. Every employee has the opportunity to discuss career goals and performance with managers and obtain their help working through a plan that involves both work by the employee as well as resources and support from MedVet.
