Pros

- The team was good, it's probably what keeps people going. - Salary is good, depending on where you live it could be really good compared to your local market - Fully remote - Using latest technologies

Cons

Top management is lost, they don't really know what they're doing. They claim to have a clear vision of what they want to achieve but they don't take correct steps to achieve their goals. They just decide team restructure any time they like and of course it usually includes layoffs, which takes us to the next point. During my journey at Medable, I witnessed an average of one layoff per year. Sometimes it felt really stable, but then they just surprised us with another failure and the result is always layoffs! One thing was clear, they don't do layoffs based on performance, they just let the people with the bigger salaries go. So generally if you're not in a client-facing position you should be worried

Pros

Amazing people, flexible schedules, ability to work from anywhere, innovation and creative solutions encouraged, competitive pay, overall good leadership, growth opps, and being part of something that is in the process of being built.

Cons

Because of where the company is at in terms of maturity (still somewhat considered start-up), it can be fast paced, and at times chaotic. Some people feed off this and like being part of this phase, whereas others find this frustrating. I have had coworkers at Medable love this aspect like me, and I've had some that didn't see themselves at Medable longterm because of this. So while I can't think of too many cons, I would say this would be one I have seen firsthand from coworkers. For me, the main con is not getting as much face time with coworkers as I'd like.

Pros

The leadership team sets a clear vision and communicates it well. You always know how your work ties back to the company’s goals. Smart, collaborative colleagues who genuinely want to help each other succeed. It feels like everyone is rowing in the same direction. Strong culture of innovation. New ideas are welcomed, tested, and celebrated. You never feel stuck doing things “the way they’ve always been done.” Work life balance is respected. Expectations are high, but so is the support. Professional growth is real here. Opportunities to take on more responsibility, lead high-impact projects, and develop new skills come often Leadership truly cares about employees as people, not just as headcount. Recognition is consistent and meaningful.

Cons

Fast paced environment may feel intense at times
