Pros

- Remote-first. Good benefits and perks like Summer and Focus Fridays. - The people are truly great and talented - Mission is great if they can get the product to work

Cons

- 5 rounds of layoffs in 2 years. Reason being is the "path to profitability," but they aren't focusing on the root of the problem, a buggy product - Big name customers signed large contracts during COVID, but significantly reduced their spending when the product couldn't deliver. This is why they aren't meeting their sales goals - Lack of transparency. At every All Hands the CEO talks about how great and amazing the year will be, just to be followed with another round of layoffs. No one trusts the leadership. - Lack of culture. We see all these fancy off-sites planned for leadership but there's nothing for non-leadership

Pros

Amazing people, flexible schedules, ability to work from anywhere, innovation and creative solutions encouraged, competitive pay, overall good leadership, growth opps, and being part of something that is in the process of being built.

Cons

Because of where the company is at in terms of maturity (still somewhat considered start-up), it can be fast paced, and at times chaotic. Some people feed off this and like being part of this phase, whereas others find this frustrating. I have had coworkers at Medable love this aspect like me, and I've had some that didn't see themselves at Medable longterm because of this. So while I can't think of too many cons, I would say this would be one I have seen firsthand from coworkers. For me, the main con is not getting as much face time with coworkers as I'd like.

Pros

The leadership team sets a clear vision and communicates it well. You always know how your work ties back to the company’s goals. Smart, collaborative colleagues who genuinely want to help each other succeed. It feels like everyone is rowing in the same direction. Strong culture of innovation. New ideas are welcomed, tested, and celebrated. You never feel stuck doing things “the way they’ve always been done.” Work life balance is respected. Expectations are high, but so is the support. Professional growth is real here. Opportunities to take on more responsibility, lead high-impact projects, and develop new skills come often Leadership truly cares about employees as people, not just as headcount. Recognition is consistent and meaningful.

Cons

Fast paced environment may feel intense at times
