Pros
Residents are appreciative and normally understanding. The CNAs are amazing and know the residents like the back of there hand!!! Nurses are nice and helpful to assist in learning the facility. Good experience if you plan on working in a hospital setting, you'll be able to handle anything! Doctors, PT, OT, activities staff are amazing and fun.
Cons
Anywhere from 23-30 residents to one LPN. Doesn't tell you when your training ends just schedules you on your own and expects you to be okay. No break depending on what set you work. No help if your behind and need a break. Seem like management walks in circles all day and only helps during emergencies. Short staffing in nursing and overworked. Staffing basically begs you to pick up shifts and cuts deals to cover shifts screwing themselves in the long run l,staffing wise.
