Pros

Can work from home and have a casual dress code. Some of the managers are great and coworkers are also really awesome, but unfortunately a lot of people are leaving.

Cons

Medical solutions is owned by a large investment firm. They do not care about the employees. It is all about profit. They let people go during covid, they are decreasing our base salaries, and they are changing our commission structure. We were promised that benefits would get better in 2021 and they got worse. They say they have " flexible " PTO but it seems very apparent that they are not really encouraging you to take it when you need it. The communication from leadership is AWFUL. They announced they were doing layoffs in a video that was emailed to the entire company. In the video it said you would " get an invite for a meeting" if you were getting laid off... I cannot get over how unprofessional it was. They try to come off as a very fun and progressive place to work that values culture but that could not be further from the truth. Bottom line this is not the best place to work right now. Take your skills and talent to a company that will value you and pay you better.

Pros

You get a laptop and mouse

Cons

Leadership below the VP level gets in the way of that development. Management leans heavily on rigid, arbitrary metrics — for example, a call-quota formula (100+ calls/day) that doesn't hold up and is flawed when you actually look at how it's calculated. There's heavy oversight of clock-in/out times, lunch breaks, and even restroom time, which creates a culture of surveillance rather than trust. We are adults, no need for micromanaging. Direct Management doesn't separate emotional reactions from business outcomes — when numbers are down, that frustration is visible and passed onto the team rather than handled constructively. When leadership does phone demonstrations to "show how it's done," the execution often doesn't match the standard being enforced, which undermines credibility with the team. There's limited career growth here, financially or in terms of advancement, especially at the SDR/BDR level.
