Pros
- Benefits are generous - Top Earners seem to do well - Nice sales folks in Denver office
Cons
I'll share my story and keep it brief - I was hired by Medicus as a Physician Recruiter in Denver. Medicus has a mandatory five-week training period in their East Coast HQ, which I endured for three weeks. The training program was elementary, geared towards those just out of college with no sales exp. Strong focus on personality training with little pitch training/refinement. They offer second-rate doctors to hospitals who are understaffed. Recruiters must call those docs at their hospitals of employment, pretending to be someone else until they are put through to a doctor... again, not the cream of the crop. When I began to question their sketchy prospecting methods and hyper-focus on personality training - I was shortly let go, with absolutely zero explanation - 2,000 miles away from home. This was a few months ago so this is not a passion post. I am extremely happy at my current place of employment. Medicus churns and burns employees. Trust me - Avoid.
