Pros
Medicus really does make sure during their through interview process (I interviewed with 5 people) that first, you know what you are committing to, and second, that the people they hire are good citizens first. There is a welcoming buzz when you walk in the door and you can feel it all through out the sales floor, among the business partners, in the kick-butt cafeteria - everywhere. They invest in training - not just initial job-training but career development training through "Medicus University" that is an MBA-style program with HBR readings, presentations and administered by Executive Management (some who have MBAs and PHds themselves). You have the chance to move up not base on how long you have been there but what you prove you can contribute. It is a pressure cooker, but the employees are treated with respect and rewarded for their contributions - with a great balance of fun and levity.
Cons
Being a growth company is hard. As the place evolves employees are asked to do things different ways and adjust. For some this is real hard and we end up losing some employees as a result. That can be a drain on moral at times. The positives of the growth FAR outweigh the cons, but it does make for some tough situations.
