Pros
Fast paced environment. If you are self motivated, you can get things done fairly quickly without much red tape as long as you can justify the business plan. this was my favorite thing about the job. Great place to learn if you don't mind the hard work. Sales-centric, your first customer is your sales reps & they can be demanding, but if you establish a good relationship with them, will make the rest of your job (travel, promo and market research) so much easier. This was my second favorite thing about the job (and another learning opportunity to pick up sales skills). Culture in general has become more fun and company seems to be spending more on the well being of their employees (subsidized cafeteria, fun team outing events, free holiday lunches and parties) and is slowly coming along worthy of it's forbes designation.
Cons
Typical: Nepotism. People don't always get recognized for their hard work, others can't seem to do wrong. Still a bit of a good old boys club but it was slowly starting to change before I left. No work remote flexibility. Pay lower than industry average. Politics.
